These wild horses decided to go for a dip in a canal near Carova Beach, North Carolina, and this person was lucky enough to capture the moment on camera! Once horse goes right in the water while the others in his herd are still up on the hill grazing on the grass and trees. Eventually the rest of them come in the water for a drink and to cool down.

First they are in just up to their knees but then they walk in farther, up to their chests. One horse goes all the way in, with the water covering his entire body with just his head above water. With the sound of the water and the birds chirping, and the view of these beautiful horses, you are overcome with such a sense of peace and serenity!

I just love wild horses!!
