As parents, we are always looking for a way to entertain our fur children. This new trending challenge is perfect for the trickster to play on their pet. It will definitely have you laughing, but your pet will think you disappeared into thin air.

“What The Fluff” challenge started out with people playing a trick on their dog. The challenge consisted of people holding up a blanket in front of them and then quickly running away before it dropped. Making their dog believe that they just disappeared. The challenge went viral with dogs completely confused as to where their owner went.

The challenge is said to have started with Jax, a Siberian Husky, from the United Kingdom. The video showed Jax completely confused as to where his owner went. This challenge took off when people viewed the video and saw Jax’s adorable reaction. With encouragement to try the trick from Jax’s owner, the movement was started. His video has been viewed over 2 million times.

More than 10,000 videos have been posted to Instagram with hilarious stunned reactions from dogs. The videos are being tagged with #WhatTheFluffChallenge. Some dogs go searching for their owner, while others just sit there baffled. As the challenge gained in popularity, cat owners decided to join in. The cats reacted very similar to the dogs, with confused looks.

Why should dogs and cats have all the fun? One person even did the challenge with a horse. The horse cautiously stepped forward and then peered around the corner to see its mother. The challenge is great fun if your pet plays along. However, some have been epic fails, like when the pet does not care that the person is gone, or just plays with the blanket.

You can join in on the fun by trying the challenge yourself. See if your pet loves you more than a blanket.
