A Deaf Little Girl Finds Her Puppy Soulmate

Walter was a rescue pup at the Pasadena Humane Society. He was a classic candidate for adoption, with a laughing puppy face, adorable eyes, and the cutest freckles ever speckled across his face. But Walter had one obstacle to overcome, and it was a lulu. He was deaf. Many adopters are uncomfortable with the idea of bringing a deaf dog home, afraid that they’ll be untrainable or constantly in danger.

Enter Julia: a typical kid, beautiful, full of energy, with an incredible smile – and totally ready to love a dog. And it turns out that Walter was the perfect dog for Julia to love and understand. You see, Julia is deaf, too.

A bond like this comes once in a lifetime. Walter is even learning sign language. How cool is that? Walter and Julia are wonderful and amazing just the way they are – and totally perfect for each other, besides! Together, these two can and will conquer anything!
