Is There Anything More Adorable Than Newborn Twin Lambs? Um… NO!

Let’s celebrate all of Summer and Reuben’s firsts during the year of the lamb! These adorable babies will have their first kiss, first snuggle, first suckle, and take their first steps all for you to enjoy.

At Farm Sanctuary, they are raising awareness about lambs in the United States. Most are slaughtered between 6 and 8 months because people prefer lamb meat over sheep meat. These babies have their tails docked at a very young age, to prevent fecal build-up on their backsides. This is a very painful process. As sheep age, their wool production slows down so lamb slaughtering brings in more money than sheep shearing. This is so incredibly sad. Let these two beauties remind you just how precious their lives are.
