A Pit bull was sadly thrown onto the street and left for dead by his former owners. He was in horrible shape – severely emaciated, weak, and had tick bite fever.

Thankfully he was rescued and taken in by Vet Point. They took such great care of him and he gained a lot of weight. One of the head vets saw him and fell in love with him at first sight. She knew she had to adopt this baby and give him a better life.

Now named Trevor, this Pit bull is enjoying his time at his new home with his loving family. He even has a doggy brother, a rescue poodle named Albert. Albert was very socially awkward, but Trevor helped him break out of his shell.

The two of them grew a very special bond and they’re inseparable and the best of friends. While Trevor helped Albert come out of his shell, Albert taught Trevor how to play.

And Trevor’s new mom taught him how to trust again. He had been treated so poorly by his former owners, and never got to feel what it’s like to be a part of a loving family. Despite everything he has been through, he is a very friendly and affectionate dog.

Sadly, Trevor has liver failure, but that hasn’t slowed him down. He’s still running around and enjoying what he has left of life. Although it’s sad, at least Trevor got a second chance to make his life as amazing as it is. He may not live a long life, but he’s living his best life!
