This Puppy Is Learning That Her Vision Impairment Shouldn’t Impair Her!

Tatum is such a precious pup but her shyness tends to get in the way. Dog Town manager, Christine, thinks it’s most likely due to some vision impairment Tatum sustained from a head injury (insert mega sad face here!)

Every single day is another day to work with Tatum, to get her more comfortable with her surroundings, to get her to know all sorts of terrain, so that she will use her ears and the vision she has left, to navigate with confidence. Walking on dirt is different than grass and walking up steps is different than walking up a hill. It’s a process and Tatum is doing great. Just look at how precious she is!

I have no doubt that Tatum will find her forever home soon!

Want to participate in a really good cause? Me too! That’s why I donate to Happy Trails For Wagging Tails. Did you know that most dogs that are euthanized in shelters are totally adoptable? Yup. This happens because of overcrowding. Approximately 1.2 million dogs are euthanized each year. What better way to save them than to give to a transport program that will relocate dogs from crowded areas to places that have the room to house them? Sounds pretty pawsome to me!
