The beautiful snowy owl is striking enough for just about anyone to appreciate. They are the largest North American owl by weight, with an average mass of 4.5 pounds, and spend most of their time in Arctic regions. They are, however, known to migrate to Canada, the northern United States, Asia, and Europe. Lucky for us, this beautiful owl just made a surprise appearance on a Quebec traffic camera, along Montreal's Highway 40. With its nearby grassy fields, the area serves as a great hunting ground for the owls, which eat primarily rodents. Check out the video below to catch a glimpse of this incredible ghostlike owl!
