Slideshow: Amazing Shelter Renovations at “Dog Condo” in Thailand

Thanks to generous donations from animal lovers like you, life is about to get a whole lot better for thousands of dogs and cats living in “the worst shelter in the world”.

Suan Kaew temple, commonly known as “Dog Condo,” is the severely overcrowded and hazardous home of more than 2,000 of Thailand’s stray dogs and cats. Horrific images of the unsanitary barracks have shown up in media reports around the world.

On June 3, 2014, TheAnimalRescueSite.com and GreaterGood.org succeeded in raising $60,000 for Soi Dog Foundation, a Thailand-based animal rescue group, enabling them to turn this deplorable shelter into a sanctuary! (Click here for more on what the shelter was like before Soi Dog stepped in.)

Check out this inspiring slideshow to see the amazing improvements that are already being made!
