Hope For Paws, an animal rescue organization, received a call about a homeless dog who had been living in an industrial area.

Volunteers arrived at the scene to try and rescue the pup. Once they spotted her, one of the rescuers named Loreta Frankonyte slowly approached her and offered her pieces of cheeseburger to try and gain her trust.

The dog then walked into a nearby parking lot, so rescuers quickly secured the area with a gate so she couldn’t run away. The dog had been living in the area for months, but she was nervous and would never let anyone touch her.

When the dog went into the corner of the lot, the other rescuer, Lisa Arturo, was able to secure her with a snare. She tried to get away and was visibly frightened and stressed out, but eventually she calmed down. They named the little pup “Shrimp,” and eventually put a leash around her.

Soon after, rescuers noticed another dog running down the street, so they went to see what the situation was. It turns out the puppy was with a couple who had been feeding her, but the couple was homeless themselves, so they were unable to give her the proper care she needed.

Rescuers asked the couple if they could take the puppy and find her a good home, and the couple agreed to it. They named this dog “Caviar.” Sadly, Caviar’s brother had been hit by a car and passed away the week prior, so it was good that Caviar was now safe and off the streets and will now be well-taken care of.

On the way to the hospital, they wound up rescuing a third dog! This dog was much bigger, and they named her “Delphina.”

The dogs were checked out and were thankfully given a clean bill of health. Shrimp and Caviar went to live with a foster. They met new doggy friends who they enjoy spending time with and playing with. If you’re interested in adopting this cute pups, visit www.PalRescue.org.
