Swimmer Syndrome Can’t Slow Speedo Down!

This adorable kitten is Speedo. He was born with a severe case of Swimmer’s Syndrome, a rare yet treatable condition where the legs are splayed out on either side, restricting mobility.

That, on top of his incontinence, led the shelter to choose euthanasia as his final fate. His amazing foster family, however, was determined not to let that happen, so this video was born.

It wasn’t long before inquiries about him exploded across the country. Now little Speedo has found his forever home!

So remember this: Adopt, don’t shop! Many cats still languish in shelters. You can do your part in supporting cats across the country by donating time or hours to these deserving facilities, or adopting a rescue animal yourself.
