This clip, from the Animal Planet TV show Pit Bull And Parolees, shows a dog’s amazing capacity to forgive. This beautiful pit was severely abused and is hurting everywhere, yet she is calm and gentle as she is examined by a veterinarian.

The vet thinks her cornea may be scratched and has to have a thorough exam with dye in her eye. She doesn’t fight it at all.

As humans, we can learn a thing or two from a dog like her. Right?
