Ottis To The Rescue!

OttisOttis, whose interests include burrowing under the covers, snuggling, play dates with friends, and tug-o-war, is a senior Boston Terrier with a whole lot of heart. Besides keeping his foster mom company, Ottis also works as a mentor for the many foster rescue dogs that he and his mom welcome into their home from the Motley Zoo Animal Rescue. Ottis and his foster mom bring in the dogs who are having a difficult time in the shelter system and need more structure, training, and special attention. Through patience, personalized training, and a whole lot of love, Ottis and his foster mom work hard as a team to rehabilitate these dogs so that they can find stable and loving “fur-ever” homes.

On his down time, Ottis also volunteers as a therapy dog for the Seattle Humane Society, which means he gets the chance to travel to nursing homes and make people smile and laugh with his goofy behavior and sloppy kisses. According to his mom, Brooke Mallory, in his spare time, Ottis likes to play Hide-and-Nap.  As you can see, he’s very good at it!

To follow along with Ottis’s many ventures, go to his Facebook page where he shares all of his daily activities and the progress of his foster siblings.
