Fawn Is One Fine Cow, No Matter What!

Fawn’s mother was confined to a milking stall and forced to give birth standing up. Fawn’s legs were permanently injured during the birthing process. Useless to him, the farmer gave Fawn up to a woman, named Jennifer, who wanted a pet cow. In spite of her noble efforts, Fawn was unable to live a normal life with her. Jennifer surrendered Fawn to Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary. They took the adorable, affectionate cow to a vet at Cornell and miraculously, instead of the news they expected that she would be euthanized, he said he could help her. After surgery to both legs, Fawn faced months of rehabilitation. She went from using hard casts on her legs, to softer braces just a few hours a day.

The results are TREMENDOUS! Just look at her go! She loves her leg braces and even has a hop in her step. Fawn went from having no future to a cow with a beautiful life ahead of her. I LOVE STORIES LIKE THIS ONE!
