An Orphan Ape Loves His Teddy Bear

Iggy is a Gibbon which is a small ape (and super cute!). He was found as a baby all alone in a tree. He was in rough shape. Rescuers took him to a wildlife center, called Phnom Tamao, and treated him for dehydration and malnourishment. They wanted Iggy to feel safe but didn’t want him to get too used to humans. So… they gave him a teddy bear with a heart beat. Iggy loves his bear and snuggles up with it for comfort. Kind of like kids do. Awwww!

Isn’t Iggy adorable? I’m so happy he’s safe and sound!
