From Rescue to Runway: Voting Begins for the Next Fuzzy Nation Super Model

FK_FuzzyNation_2012Winner_200x300Thousands of fans submitted head shots of their rescue pets for an opportunity to win the 2013 Fuzzy Nation Super Model Contest. Now it’s your  turn: from now until November 4, you can vote once a day for the next top model. The winning pet will be honored with a $10,000 cash grant from GreaterGood.org to the shelter responsible for their rescue. Plus, Fuzzy Nation™ will create a plush likeness of the adorable animal, much like the 2012 winner, Boss, pictured here.

The Fuzzy Nation panel of celebrity judges, including Cat Daddy Jackson Galaxy and Freekibble.com Founder Mimi Ausland, selected their top favorite 100 entries to be finalists. Now, anyone can visit the app, read the rescue stories, and vote once a day for their favorite. At the end of the voting period, votes will be tallied and the top three entries will receive one of these great prizes:

Fuzzy Nation Grand Prize: $10,000 grant to the shelter where the pet was adopted. The pet’s adopted family will receive: the adopted pet recreated in plush by Fuzzy Nation, a custom Fuzzy Nation item up to $120, a $300 gift card to FuzzyNation.com, and the winning pet will be featured in Fuzzy Nation™ marketing FK_bossplush_300x250materials for 2014!
