This beautiful man named Roberto Gonzalez, is a decorated veteran that served in Vietnam. He became paralyzed in 1970 due to injuries while fighting for our country. That didn’t stop him from pursuing his dream of becoming a rancher.

As the years went by, he realized that his horses were an extension of himself… His very best friends. As he was getting ready to pass on in the hospital, he asked for his horses to come visit him one last time. His dying wish was to be close to his beloved animals. Watch as his family, friends and wonderful nurses, wheel his bed outside so he can say his last goodbyes.

A story like this one pulls on your heart strings for sure. Yes, it’s a little sad but it is also filled with love and devotion. Would you want your animals by your side when it’s time to say goodbye? I know I would!
