In the Netherlands, releasing the cows out to pasture after the long winter months, has become a sort of national holiday. Over 1500 people gathered around in Ikast and watched with anticipation as cows from 75 farms around Denmark are released from their indoor stalls to the open pastures. And boy are these cows happy! Watch as they frolic with such a spring in their step. Spring in their step for Spring! These happy cows are so grateful for warmer weather and grass beneath their feet. YAY for happy dairy cows!
