Cooper of Cooperstown

When three-year-old (human) Carson Urness didn’t come inside for dinner, his parents were understandably concerned. But with his golden retriever Cooper by his side — or, more accurately, laying on top of him to keep him warm — Carson was safe and sound when he was finally found a mile from their farm house.

The Urness family rescued Cooper from the side of the road when he was just a puppy, so he was happy to return the favor.
