Chi Puppy Uses Sign Language When She Wants More Affection

This delightful little puppy isn’t just smart. And she isn’t just cute. She’s also a tiny blessing because she barely survived. Little Amy came to Emma Cleft Palate Chihuahuas, where they do amazing things by the way, with acute liver failure. She couldn’t even open her eyes. It was horrible!

Her rescuers weren’t even sure she would survive but guess what, she did! And now she is thriving and learning all sorts of things. She even knows how to sign! YUP! Can you believe it? I know that deaf dogs can learn commands via sign language but I never heard of a dog being able to sign herself. Pretty incredible! Have you ever seen a dog sign before? If so, please tell us more about it!

Do you want to help dogs like Amy? I know I do! Check out our Gifts That Give More page. There’s so many incredible programs that can help deserving animals. Programs start as low as $1. Amazing, right?
