Puppy Plays Peek-A-Boo In Her New Lifesaving Highchair

Abigail was born with a condition called Megaesophagus, or ME, where peristalsis fails to occur properly and the esophagus becomes enlarged during mealtime. Dogs with this condition need to be held upright after eating so the food can pass down. What these humans did for Abigail is amazing. She eats in a complete upright position, in small quantities, so the food can safely pass and not become enlarged in her throat or leak into the lungs causing aspiration pneumonia. I’m just blown away by the love these humans have for their pup. Thankfully, this highchair is working and Abigail is eating in a much more comfortable manner. Plus, she gets to play peek-a-boo! YAY!
